EZ needed to recover from eye surgery, so the first couple of weeks we hung around home and sort of cuddled slash wrestled each other. Weather was still nice so we stayed outside as much as possible and hit nightly walks before bed too. We ate ice cream (or spilled ice cream if you're sully.) I went to the Dixie Chicks concert for Ash's 31st birthday and had a helluva time. We usually make it to church but spend a lot of time in the hallway for the kids or by choice. There is never enough cousin or park times. Moses started sitting up in high chairs and nomming on pretzels and other delicacies that dissolve (no teeth in sight for this kid!)
We went to a lot of grocery stores and hit costco whether we were happy or not. Kacey & Jordan came into town and we hung out with them and realized how happy we are when we get to see our friends now that they've moved out of state. Our house mostly looked the picture below (messy messy messy) all the time and alwaaaaays stuff on the floor from these kids. EZ drew a submarine and his art skills are coming right along!
We did our annual Silver Lake & dogs tradition with the Thorups and the kids had a raging good time (especially with the scavenger hunt grandpa and bibi planned!)
Me and the children spent plenty of time together, and even sometimes went and had ourselves a good time (like when we went to Wheeler Farm and I even paid for a tractor ride! You're welcome children!) I make them hug and high five when they're being turds to each other, in hopes that they'll learn to love each other and not be forced into it haha.
We spent endless days with cousins and grandparents and scooting around (Sully has gotten so good! And EZ is still wicked fast too.) We played with Lego bricks and went to Chickfila with friends for lunch & the playplace. And also met friends for random playdates up north at the Dino part too.
Tubby time with three boys is usually quick because they all barely fit, but I force them to do it because it's so darn cute. Brothers! We took the two older boys to the Circus when it was in town and we loved the trick dogs, the motorcycle cage, and the storyline the most (EZ is always down for a good storyline, especially when there's magic and fire shooting involved!) EZ carried on in his soccer season (and his team was terrible. haha.. like so bad they didn't score for the whole second half of the season. but they had fun! and none of us parents yelled too much, so yeah... it was a success.)
Next up October, where we hit cornbellys and halloween hard!
