November 2011

November was the perfect balance of busy and relaxed. Matt worked his day job and made time for leisure art at night. Carla worked part time and made snuggin' EZ her full time job the rest of the time. We sold a car, bought a van, and started making legit progress toward adult-hood.  Matt and Carla went for 1 real night out, hired their first baby-sitter, and tried to make more time for Guido (like dog park visits and wrestling.)

 EZ went from 3 to 4 months old and just got cuter in the process. Smiles got bigger, laughing became common place, and on the 2nd to last day of the month he rolled over from his tummy to his back! He went to work with mama a few times, was mostly an angel baby for his sitters, and really started to notice Guido {pretty hard not too... when the dumb dog is up in his grill as often as he possibly can.}

We celebrated a very happy Thanksgiving, spent time with both of our families, and went on plenty of walks since the snow has yet to arrive.  EZ loves to be outside and is so observant of his entire world. He doesn't cry unless something is wrong, eats & sleeps as he should, and is the most entertaining thing in the world.  He has a calm demeanor and more and more of his laid back personality is showing itself every day.

We ended the month by pulling out the Christmas decorations and getting a head start on the upcoming December festivities. It's a good time to have a 4 month old, people.

  1. Where in the world did you get that headboard in the above right photo? I need it ASAP! :) I've been looking for a similar one for years. Share your secret.

    EZ is getting cuter and cuter. I love his little face. That's so great that he's such a good baby!
